Common sense doesn’t seem that hard to me. If something is daft you don’t do it and if it is sensible you embrace it. That is why the European Court of Human Rights is such a pain.

Don’t get me wrong, the ECHR is not part of the EU so it is not an anti-EUssr rant. The ECHR has now ruled that we should adopt a failed Liberal Democrat policy: Votes for criminals

In this instance, common sense would dictate that someone who has committed a crime should not be afforded ‘rights’ that allow them to influence the people who implement the laws that these people have no respect for. Next the ECHR will suggest that imprisonment is an infringement on the right to be free!

As I spoke about Dig in the Ribs earlier I feel obliged to tell you how excellent Pinnochio’s was last night. They provided Gluten Free pasta (which is very expensive for them so sold, presumably, as a loss-leader) and the service was excellent!
