This morning I walked around Shoreham town centre to get some Christmas cards and such like. On my journey I noticed the pictured piece of street furniture.
It was branded with the West Sussex County Council logo and provided access to free e-mail (which I tested – the e-mail arrived safely), a multimap focussed on the machine’s location, travel information, jobs and other local bits and pieces. This is an excellent idea but I noticed I was the only person to go near it…

But in all seriousness, I think it has been there a reasonable time and hasn’t been vandalised yet…
