Both the Chinese and the Vietnamese drive on the left (that is, the steering wheel of a car is on the left), just as in most of the world except the UK, Thailand, Japan and Australia plus a few others (Hong Kong, New Zealand, etc).

The street scene in Saigon (aka nowadays as 'Ho Chi Minh City') is entirely typical and I have crossed that particular thoroughfare, on foot, many times - all it requires is a little courage! I lived there for a few years, although I mostly rode around in a car driven by a chauffeur. Even more amazing is the centre of town on a Saturday evening when all the young people are out on their scooters, dressed in their best clothes, endlessly circulating around the main streets - it's all part of the 'mating ritual' that you get in places such as Italy and Greece as well; that makes the streets in that video look almost empty if you can believe it!
