Arsenal have Henry, Barcelona have Ronaldinho… Chelsea are wanting in that genius department.
Terry is probably the world’s best central defender, and don’t get me wrong, Chelsea have spent money that would make most managers weep, but they still don’t have that… something… which made Arsenal so invincible a couple of years ago (and even they couldn’t win in Europe) and which makes Barca look so strong now.
There was only one team that deserved to win tonight. Barca did win and Mourinho (who I like a lot) must admit that after the game.

Not Captain Darling though, Alistair Darling.
In response to the Hansard source quoted, I have written to Alistair Darling to clarify his position:
Dear Mr Darling
I am writing about a debate held in Parliament (Hansard source) in which the subject of the Tory policy of English Votes on English Matters arose.
Like you I agree that it does not solve the constitutional situation created by Scottish and Welsh devolution which leaves English constituents without equal representation. In response to John Thurso you agreed that “it is vital that all MPs maintain their right to vote on that legislation” and that “the only logical answer to the West Lothian question is devolution for England…”.
Given that devolution by regions is neither wanted, logical or equal to the national devolution afforded to the Scottish and Welsh, could you clarify what form that devolution should take?
Yours sincerely
I’ll keep you aprised of the response.
Note: I have replaced the Hansard source with the more user-friendly, theyworkforyou.com source in this post. I did include the Hansard link in my e-mail to Darling.
