Despite his usual blundering non-English, JP came across really well on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme this morning.
Without sounding like a whining politician he managed to make a good case for the idea that he is being made the victim of a witch hunt.
So, in the last few days, I have found myself supporting Germany (twice), France and now John Prescott… Tomorrow Hitler Blair?
Cameron needs to come out with something before I lose all grasp on reality!

A witch hunt maybe, but there is no smoke without fire. Did you count how many times he refused to answer the question about his other alleged affairs?
He also said that he should be judged on his record instead of his personal life… fine by me
Sack him now!

John Prescott a witch. Pull the other one. The corrupt old 2 shags (or was it 2 Jags?) should be sent packing. Hanging out with the super rich is of course par for the course for a New Labour politician. New Labour have destroyed more liberties than any government in history. They should all go.

One more thing. If you have sponsors how come you want PayPal donations? Oh, I forgot you are a councillor. They’re also politicians aren’t they. Always ready with the begging bowl.

AJD, yes, definitely. It’s Guido that’s carrying the other affair story most strongly, too (I didn’t see who was on NewsNight)… And Guido’s got some sources.
Devi, my sponsor is a family member and, truth-be-told, doesn’t pay me anything for the ad! The PayPal thing is just trying my luck and, frankly, is not worth the space on my server!

Iain Dale is the blogger on Newsnight, and Dave/Unity at Ministry of Truth has got more on the Dome thing, which looks like the real scandal (Gav, check the google group). Listened to it at work this afternoon on listen again.
He ducked, dived, pretended he didn’t know what a blog was (he does) and didn’t actually impress me much, but then, he hasn’t since he messed up transport policy in the 1st term. Let alone the white evolution non-devolution that were his regional assemblies.

[…] …no not to Burke and Hare. Scotland’s template megageek Jules is back! On the dark side…while on the blonde side boys will be girls according to Hannah. Mary Dejevsky has been finding that there is such a thing as a woman blogger, thanks to Patroclus although some are not so sure that Sonia’s media empire is run by a woman as she does not appear to have enough shoes to qualify. Still no news on her hairy armpits. Voyeurs love to google us as may one day R. Spandit formerly of Rothergavenny and Splott. We had a visit from a real politician (ooh!) called Gav who has not been paid by his sponsor so we wish him good luck with the finances and thanks for calling by. Prezza’s been blogswarmed. I hope it isn’t catching. Leighton will be on the barricades in Dam Square tonight so let’s hope he doesn’t end up in Guantanamo Bay! Joli weekend, mes amis. Posted by ceridwen Filed in blogpoets […]

“Cameron needs to come out with something…”
“stop making up your own jokes…..”, as Frankie Howerd used to say, the other side of an outrageous innuendo…
