I’ve received the following reply to my previous post. I’ll check it out later.
Dear Cllr Ayling,
Thank you for your e-mail on the above subject.
I visited the site myself last Thursday and directed the Contractors to install a temporary crossing as a matter of urgency, adjacent to the existing crossing undergoing work.
By now, it should be in place and allow all to be able to cross with care at that location, including mobility buggies.

Update at 7:39pm: Just checked and there’s no temporary crossing. I’ll give it until tomorrow evening…
