mill is one of my favorite more modern philosophers, though I’m not sure I agree with some of his thoughts on morality…. they seem to be the opposite of socrates teaching.

I real “On Liberty” while a friend was studying politics and I found it interesting… As you know I’m quite liberal in my outlook in the first place so I find it quite difficult to disagree with the man!
