Again, the bloody British National Anthem damaging the beginning of the game.
Britain and England are not the same — let’s have an anthem as Scotland and Wales do, for England.

In regards to a national anthem for England, what would you suggest Gavin? Would you choose Jerusalem, which is already used by the England cricket team?
I agree that England does need its own national anthem, however the dilemma arises in choosing the right one. Should we use an already patriotically English anthem? Or should we create a new one? And ultimately, who would choose?

Ah, well now, you know my answer to that! The English National Anthem should be chosen by the English Parliament.

We should keep the National Anthem, and this should not change. I believe strongly in a UNITED Kingdom, and it saddens me that devolution seems to be happening more and more as the years go by. We should be proud of our monarch and our country and this should not change. In fact, why don’t we have a British football team, rather than four separate ones?
