Hmm, wondering if I might like Bill... *checks* looks like it.

I started by reciprocating, these days no, I'm linking to what I like tor ead, and the undoubted best, everyone else I vaguely like gets put into my irregular reads which will display a few randomly, a feature I definately like. Bill already links to one of the blogs I sometimes write for so we're good.

From what I've read, too many links out devalues them completely, Google treats you as a link farm and doesn't pay any attention any more, so am cutting back a lot and linking to the aggregators instead.

If you said absolutely nothing that irritated me, then I probably wouldn't waste time reading your blog ;) ; I read blogs for stimulation, not as an anaesthetic. Since you pose the question, however, I suppose some of your posts from time to time about 'immigration' and the EU.

My usual practice for pruning my blogroll is to remove links which have not been updated for over three months. Other than this I do not, ever, ask to be included in someone's blogroll, nor do I operate a policy of reciprocity (in either direction). I have found that people who have asked to be included in my blogroll, and whose requests have been acceded to, have usually had to be removed fairly soon after because the reasons for their earlier non-inclusion, which may have been instinctive, have become more obvious once they have 'got what they wanted'; if people ask to be included in my blogroll now it is almost a guarantee that they never will be. You have been on my blogroll for quite a while, it so happens, because I find some of your views interesting and stimulating, even if I am occasionally left feeling irritated with what you write. How you choose to organise your own is certainly no business of mine, though ;)

Hey Gavin, nice new site, well done.

You haven't visited me for a very long while, maybe because I'm not on your blogroll. I'm still alive, unlike Non-trivial Solutions.
I like Jeremy Clarkson too.

Oh, well....
