There’s an entry relating to a man in trouble simply for waving an Israeli flag outside a mosque it seems.

That reminds me of the fuss when the African footballer (who plays for an Israeli team) waved an Israeli flag when he scored a goal. He was just fulfilling a promise he had made to his team-mates, but the Arab world promptly started rioting, making official complaints, and so on.
Quite frankly, they are always on the look out for something to react to. The best and most sensible approach is to stop pandering to their outbursts and simply tell them to sort out their own behaviour before complaining about that of others.
