Alistair Darling will take the most important cabinet job of Scottish Chancellor of the English Exchequer in Gordon Brown’s Scottish Raj Wednesday.
Scotland’s right to rule England on devolved matters is more and more a problem for Mr Brown but only while the English give him the grief he deserves.
Let us say it loud: The British Parliament should not rule England with Scottish and, when appropriate, Welsh and Ulster MPs. Call for an end to the Scottish Raj now.

Previously I didn’t agree but now I do, I didn’t want to see and end to Britain but its clear thats inevitable now anyway.
Its easily for people to ignore this when its just politician power games, but when the English are going blind due to not getting the drugs that the Scots and sometimes Welsh get on the NHS it becomes a true outrage.

And not just going blind: all sorts of other illnesses and diseases are going untreated (unless you’re wealthy) so that the Scots can have it paid for out of English taxes.
And it’s not just health. If your child’s education suffers because of a lack of resources, imagine how it wouldn’t if the funding were as high as it is in Scotland…

Yeah but its not just the Scots the English taxes are paying for, we also pay for all the foreign health and education tourists, and yet you don’t want to do anything about that?
