Burning with desire

Why on God’s earth would you set yourself on fire?

Suicide bombers, assuming they’ve got it right, are at least assured a quick death. But apparently one of the ‘South Asian’ chaps who attempted to attack Glasgow airport lit himself on fire before attempting to access the terminal.

Absolute madness.

I am not reassured, either, by the apparent good luck (from our point of view) and incompetence (from the would-be murderers’ point of view) as these are learning exercises.

Finally, if anyone says “Community Relations” again I will scream.

Message to stupid people: People with brown skin are not terrorists or even necessarily Islamic or sympathetic to terrorists.
Message to everyone else: Resist the urge to throw your cup of tea at the television next time a member of the ‘Muslim community’ is consulted.

The country will have a civil war within 50 years, and it will be the fault of Libertarian and far left liberal immigration policies.

Materialists who currently dominate politics and media in this country simply don’t understand the enemy, they think its got something to do with poverty lol.

I believe the number of fanatical Muslims is greatly underestimiated, I remember a year or two ago when we had the controversy over the Muslim Miss GB a skynews reporter went into a Muslims area and was asking random people their opinions he was genuinely taken aback by the comments he was getting.

I think one positive thing coming out of the latest wave of attacks is that apologist myths about the causes of terrorism are finally being debunked. The apologists may still reach for their kneejerk, stock in trade, response that it’s all about foreign policy; but former Islamists like Ed Husain and Hussan Butt are coming out and quite openly stating that whilst the Islamists use foreign policy and the related apologist hand wringing as propaganda the problems go far deeper.

For me, whilst professional apologists can get along very nicely making a public funded living from inventing “victims” and “oppression” so the feckless and indolent of the UK don’t have to take responsibility for themselves, they are on far more unstable territory when it comes to exploiting Islamist nutters for the same purpose.

    Well said.

If life is depressing because ‘society has failed you’ there is an ability for those of us who wouldn’t blow ourselves up for any cause to at least see that there was some self-pitying motive behind the action. Without that it seems ever so slightly more pointless.
